Hello everyone!

It has been awhile since I last logged in. Sometimes life gets a little hectic around here. I'm sitting here getting ready for work but I thought it would be nice to update my blog.
Last month, my books sold pretty well, for me. I sold 27 ebooks and this month looks like it's already going to be a better month. I'm at 15 books so far and it's only ten days into the month. I'm glad that every month things just get better and better.
I have also added two more books. One fantasy and the other is a book broken down into three parts. Those last two have not begun to sell yet but I'm hoping if people like the other books, then they will read my other books. I have got my first rating and it was five stars!

New Cover and writer's block

I'm still working on the middle grade but I have had writer's block for about a month. Over the last two days I spent hours putting together my new cover for the book. It was hard and very frustrating but I did it and I think it looks good. I hope this gives me the push to get it done. I have already started working some more on it. Have ADD doesn't help the matter as I keep working on several stories at one time. At least I'm writing again and that always feels good.

New Cover, Re Edited story

So I been working on my novel, Forbidden Love for almost 5 years. I've had it up on Amazon since May. I wasn't happy with my cover. I didn't think it displayed what the story is about. I also realized that the story still contained typos and the formatting was still off. Of course I was upset. It took me four days and one heck of a headache over the cover, but I finally got it together. The newly updated book and its new cover will be re released in about 24 hours!

Here comes another book promotion

I've had some mild success doing the free promotions so I thought, why not do it again? This one is going to run from this Sunday until Tuesday. I have sold a few more books and hopefully running another free promotion will get things moving along some more.
Also, I was charging .99 cents for my book and have since raised the price to 1.49. So spread the word and help me get my book out there.

Middle grade novel and updates

Good morning! I've been so busy with everyday life that I haven't written a new post in some time.
First off, let's talk about progress on my new middle grade novel. It's taking me longer to write it then I first thought. I want to make sure that I'm getting it done as best as I can. I wrote this book for my oldest son. He is my inspiration and my main character is modeled after him. My son doesn't have a lot of friends, and kids would pick on him. I always tell him how great he is. By the end of this story, the boy is a hero. I made my son a hero that all the kids like him. I have my child in mind as I write this book.
New update on my historical novel. I just sold two more books. Sometimes it will be a week before I sell one and I get discouraged but then I will sell two and it makes me giddy. I woke up this morning to find I had sold another book! It's slow going but it's going and that's all I can ask for.

New novel

I'm working on my first middle grade novel and it's really fun. It's also hard work writing from an 11 year old boy's point of view. I have never written a novel where the main character is a boy but I do have a son the same age. I think this book is going to turn out really well. So far I have written 1,059 words! My goal is 20,000 to 30,000 words.

You name my book

I am horrible at titles and would love some ideas from readers. So here is the challenge. If you have read my book, what would be a good title?

Free Book Promotion

So I decided to give this free book promotion a whir and see if that stirs up some more interest. I just want people to love my books as much as I do. It's not about making money. Sure, in the long run I would like to make enough money to do writing as a full time job but it's not important yet. I just want to get my name out there so people know who I am. When I write and these same people see my other books, they will also want to read them. That's my goal. So starting tomorrow and running 48 hours only my book Forbidden Love on Amazon will be free.

Oh yeah, more sales!

So yes, I've sold about another 3 books since my last post. Every little book I sell I get so excited! I love writing and I love my stories. I put my heart and soul into them. Forbidden Love is a book I had been working on for four long years. I couldn't stop editing it. Months would go by and I wouldn't touch it. Writers block got me for a long time. When I got heavy into drugs I stopped writing all together. I been clean for two years and I'm just now able to start writing again. It feels good to be doing it again and to feel the ideas start to flow again. Sometimes I'm at work ringing customers up and bam, an idea hits me right in the head.lol
I haven't sold tons of books but I am on the right track. Once I hit 50 book sales, I'm going to do something nice for myself. I better get to marketing and getting it done.

so, I finally got my novel put up on Amazon. I've sold one so far. Everyone has to start somewhere and I'm glad that already I got one sold.

I'm Back!!!

Well it has been quite some time since I been on here so let me update. I stopped writing for awhile. My life was in shambles. I got into some bad things that I'm not proud of but have since changed. I finally left my small town in Ohio and moved to Florida. It has been the best decision I have made. I was able to get a decent job and get on my feet. I love it here and I'm so very happy and thankful everyday I wake up.
I recently got back into writing. I have two really good ones I am working on and I finally went back and edited some of my older ones and I have began placing them up on Kindle. It feels strange to be writing again and it is taking me forever to get a novel written. It's been too long. But I am back and ready to get my books that I love out there for others to love them too. My hope is still to find an agent who loves my books just as much as I do but until that time comes, I'll market and sell as many books on Kindle and on my own as I can.
